Our Social Justice and Outreach Committee
The SOCIAL JUSTICE AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE coordinates and monitors the parish’s social justice and outreach efforts which affect the lives of the poor, the lonely, the unborn, the elderly, the oppressed, the homeless, the disabled and members of minority groups residing in the parish. Some areas of focus for this committee are: Creates an environment which welcomes every individual, regardless of their social setting, into the life of the parish; creates opportunities for parishioners to share their gifts, talents and resources with families and individuals who are need; encourages volunteering and links parishioners with volunteer opportunities; provides for a range of services and compassionate care for those in our parish who are in need of assistance; promotes the dignity and value of human life in all conditions and stages; develops programs and outreach opportunities for parishioners and the community in support of the sanctity of human life; develops an environment for reconciliation and healing for those affected by the affronts on the sanctity of human life; and develops a parish atmosphere for tolerance and respect towards others.
